MANUFACTURING
Made by specialist glove makers
Glove making is a specialised craft, with skills and production methods that are no longer widely found in Sweden. Rather than compromise on the standard we expect, we work with experienced glove makers abroad, chosen for their knowledge and craftsmanship.
Every hide is selected and checked to the same standard before it reaches the workshop. The stitching and construction are carried out by specialist hands, each with its own experience of the craft. We believe in being clear about where our products are made. What matters is the skill behind the work, not simply the flag on the label.
MATERIALS
Leather, lining and hardware
Full-grain cowhide forms the foundation of the range, with goatskin, elk and bison used for select styles. Each leather has its own character and feel- cowhide firm and smooth, goatskin soft and supple, elk naturally flexible, and bison thick with a pronounced grain.
The lining is chosen for the purpose of each glove. Wool provides natural warmth and comfort against the skin, Thinsulate™ adds insulation without unnecessary bulk, while Kevlar® is used where greater resistance to cuts is required. Brass eyelets and buckles complete the construction, with some styles using a simple paracord loop instead.
CARE
Leather that shows it gets used
Leather needs a little care to stay at its best. Apply a thin coat of leather wax by hand, repeating a couple of times each season depending on how often and how hard the gloves are used. Kevlar®-lined gloves used for heavier work may need care more often.
If the gloves get wet, let them air dry naturally at room temperature. Keep them away from radiators, open flames and other direct heat, which can dry the leather too quickly and cause it to stiffen. While drying, fill out the gloves gently to help them retain their shape.
DESIGN
Designed to move with the hand
The pattern is cut to follow the natural movement of the hand, with reinforced seams where grip and wear are greatest. The range covers everything from lightweight everyday gloves to heavier goatskin and Kevlar® styles made for outdoor work, along with a smaller fit for narrower hands.
Every pair is backed by our lifetime warranty against material and manufacturing defects. Made to last well beyond a single season, and to keep doing its job year after year.
