We are excited to announce that our beloved Gjöra gloves have received an upgrade!
The design has been revamped by eliminating all external seams that may deteriorate over time and with heavy usage. Additionally, the gloves are made from full grain cow hide, which offers a tight grain structure and great abrasion and heat resistance.
With proper care, these gloves will withstand the test of time.
The Gjöra gloves begin as A-Grade full grain cow hide, from which each pair is hand-cut and sewn together by skilled artisans. However, it is when the gloves reach our hands that true magic ensues. Every pair of gloves undergoes our multi-step hand-finishing treatment, creating a protective barrier that deeply penetrates the leather and guards against the elements.
We employ a old and proven formula that consists of a special blend of natural wax, fats and oils that are, carefully worked into the leather during various stages. This process grants the gloves a water-repellent surface and leaves them with the invigorating scent of Nordic pine.
Due to the extensive and unpredictable nature of the finishing process, each glove possesses a unique shift in color and texture.
Our gloves may initially have a slightly stiff texture, but they will gradually soften and take the shape of your hands after being worn a few times.
The Gjöra gloves are designed with a pair of nylon loops in each glove, making it convenient to store them when not in use. These loops are perfect for attaching to your Crud Key Chain.
